Welcome to Parkside Sports College at Willington, near Durham. Parkside was designated a Sports and ICT college in September 2006 allowing us to provide our students and community with the facilities and opportunities to extended their enjoyment of learning within and beyond the school day.

At Parkside Sports College we have high standards of teaching and high expectations for behaviour and learning ensuring that our students leave here as confident and capable young people. We expect the best for everyone, and we want all of our students, regardless of ability, to experience success, and the rewards outstanding achievement brings.

The College is committed to viewing every student as an individual and our academic and activities schedule allows everyone to excel at something. Sports College status has helped us to develop a comprehensive programme of active participation and student leadership initiatives which aim to promote self esteem and well being into all aspects of our students lives.
